Every once in a while a person gets used to something, and the thing is a good thing to have. This is what Livejournal.com was to me at one time. I had a long-standing account there, and a very long blog. Then they decided to change things, and neither of my computers can take the site, anymore. I tried blogspot.com, and it worked for a while, although the editor is flaky, and my computers do not like that site, either. It is not very user friendly. I was beginning to think of a domain name to buy, and just post my blog there, and forget about fancy editors, sites that don’t work, especially for Macs, and sites that change every six months. They change often enough that a techie person cannot even keep up with. What’s the point of keeping a blog when this happens?
So I am finally trying out wordpress.com, and we shall we how we get along with each other. My computers are up-to-date, and one is a Mac, and the other a PC. The PC is only two years old. I cannot wait to see how the Mac responds on this site. It wouldn’t matter if only my PC worked here, because if just one computer OS gets along well with my blog site, then it will still be useable.
So far so good!
